There are still around 200 people following this blog even though I haven’t been on it in around a year or so. If any of you still remember who I am and actually want to see some words that I typed, I’ve been on another blog for the past year, (although not nearly as much as I was on this one). If you’d like the URL just send me a message, provided I don’t despise you.

I recently discovered that Nicolas Cage changed his family name from Coppola to Cage early on in his career, as his uncle is well known director, Francis Ford Coppola, and he feared that critics would claim that Francis Ford Coppola played a part in increasing his popularity. He chose the surname Cage after Luke Cage, a character out of the Marvel Comics universe. As you may or may not know, the...
Blasting White Lies at 1 in the morning, and singing along like a madman. Unfortunately I’m blasting it out of my headphones, so the only sound coming out of my room is the horrible wailing I’m emitting. Good thing I’ve got my window open so everyone in the immediate vicinity can hear me.
Watching this Ben Elton Live thing again. Despite having a BAL well over the legal limit, it’s still not remotely entertaining. I don’t mind his books, and I’m a fan of The Young Ones, but Ben’s definitely not as good as he used to be.
puncake asked: :O that's really cool. Do you remember how you would deal with things back then by any chance?
I just had a thought. If a person is born deaf,...

Guess it’s a good thing you weren’t trying to impress me then…
Relapsing into drinking at home, by myself. Also, as if this wasn’t already bad enough, I’m spending the downtime eating Doritos, playing World of Warcraft, and listening to Death Cab (that last one ain’t so bad, though). Other than my somewhat stellar ability to multitask, I can’t say I’m a massive fan of my life right now.
I usually never leave the house, but we went to Australia recently—the whole...

Now that the Simpsons isn’t on anymore, my viewing options while I’m having dinner consist of the following:
The Flintstones
Cricket
Tennis
Family Ties
Letters and Numbers
News
and some pitiful offerings from SBS2, 7TWO, and the numerous ABC channels.
I think I’m just going to fish in WoW for about half an hour while I’m eating. After all, you can never have too...

This is life. We suffer and slave and expire. That’s it.

Looking back through photos from my last year of school, and coming down with a chronic case of nostalgia. I know I was a bit of a shit to a few of them, but fuck I miss those people a lot. I’m lucky to see them once every 2 or 3 months now, and it blows harder than a high-class prostitute.
How is it raining right now, and yet still ridiculously warm? Fucking hell, weather, get your act together. (I know there’s simple science behind this ‘phenomena’, a word I’m using very loosely here, but fuck it. I don’t appreciate being overheated all day, and then having this shower bait me into thinking it’s going to get cooler, when it’s not.)

burnthegirl asked: haha, most of time i go to the movies, is with my mom.
sometimes we go see different movies, but then we'll meet up & see one together.
she doesn't like 3D movies anyway, so it's perfect. they give her a headache, & i just can't wear them.
but i hear their making 3D glasses for people with glasses & whatnot.
